Hobson Heights Documentary Premiere & Pop up Exhibit – 100th Anniversary Celebration
Join us for the premiere of The Legends of Hobson Heights: The Untold Tales of 100 Years of Architecture, Triumph and Tragedy, a documentary that includes over 20 gorgeous Hobson Heights properties and their facinating stories of Hollywood movie stars, secret speakeasies, Olympic gold athletes, ghosts, ground-breaking firsts, and the heartbreaking story of the fire that almost destroyed it all.
Step back into the 1920’s when Hobson Heights was first created! Vintage cars, live music and libations will add to the roaring 20s vibes. Enjoy a free screening of the documentary, followed by a Q&A with the film makers and residents of the iconic houses included in the film.
Listen to live music while enjoying a pop-up exhibit featuring historic maps, old photos and house plans uncovered during our research of Hobson Heights. A painting exhibit will showcase paintings of the iconic neighborhood (for sale directly by the artists) by the Plein Air Society of Ventura.
